I found this book while I was at Powells with Bella. She convinced me to buy it cause she loved it so much and I ended up loving it too.

This book was heart-wrenchingly sad and scary at the same time. I don’t think I was prepared for how gory it ended up being, but the post-apocalyptic, dystopian vibes reminded me so much of the LEGEND SERIES by Marie Lu omg that series had a chokehold on me in 8th grade and I hated how it ended so much. Anyways, It was definitely interesting and not my typical cup of tea but it kinda reminded me of my own writing if I was a really good writer, so basically the kind of writing I would aspire to concoct, except under a different genre. Basically I want to be as talented as M. R. Carey someday.
