The animated Robin Hood movie holds a very special place in my heart and its easily recognizable, colorful scenes elicited a strong sense of nostalgia when I rewatched it for the first time in a decade. Marian and Robin’s romance and the classic line, “Marian my darling, I love you more than life itself.” are just too good. “Not in Nottingham” “Love” and “Whistle Stop” were the songs of my childhood. Robin Hood is such a great hero and cleverly animated to win the hearts of his fellow animals as well as the audience.
